Terms of Service

• You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 where local law requires) to use LOOP.
• You need a valid email address, a unique username and a display name.
• Keep your login details secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• One person per account. Don't impersonate anyone or use a username you have no right to.

LOOP delivers your messages to other people in their chosen language, using automated translation and speech-to-text. Translation is machine-generated and may contain errors, omissions or awkward phrasing. LOOP is not a substitute for a professional interpreter and must not be relied on for medical, legal, financial or emergency communication.

You agree not to use LOOP to:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, bully or intimidate anyone.
• Share sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualises children — we report this to the authorities.
• Post or send hate speech, incitement to violence, or terrorist or extremist content.
• Send spam, scams, phishing links, pyramid schemes or fraudulent financial offers.
• Share someone's private information without consent, or non-consensual intimate images.
• Distribute malware, or attempt to hack, scrape, overload or reverse-engineer LOOP.
• Sell illegal goods or services, or break any law that applies to you.
• Automate account creation, or use bots to mass-message people.

You own your messages, photos, voice notes and stories. To run the service, you give us a limited licence to store, transmit, translate, transcribe and display that content to the people you send it to. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep for legal or safety reasons.

We may limit, suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms or our Community Guidelines, or that puts other users at risk. Where it's appropriate and lawful, we'll tell you why and how to appeal. You can stop using LOOP and delete your account at any time.

LOOP is free to use. The free experience is supported by advertising shown inside the app. A premium upgrade is available to remove ads and may unlock additional features. Prices, billing periods and renewal terms are shown before you purchase. Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are billed by Apple or Google and are governed by their refund policies. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We work hard to keep LOOP fast and available, but we provide the service "as is" and don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may add, change or remove features over time.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, LOOP is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, or for any loss arising from inaccurate translation or from content sent by other users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.
